This eBook for children is about learning the importance of sharing and it is formatted in chapter book style.
The sharing lessons unfold after main character, Mimi Havfun, decides she and her dog, Candie, will stay outside for an entire day. She believes that staying outside all day without once going indoors will be the best way to have as much fun as teenagers who stay out after dark.
R. Renée Bembry likes to include poems at the ends of her chapter books. Each chapter book poem relates to the theme of its story. The poem at the end of this story implores children to share their goodies instead of being stingy.
This tale aims at grade school children in general; however, the author believes in challenging readers, and thus children below fourth grade may need assistance with the reading level. Fourth graders reading below level may need assistance as well.
Advanced readers should be able to zip right through the book; however, the verbiage likely will challenge them also.
The author recommends that older children or adults read the eBook to younger kids, or at least, assist them with the story where necessary.
