I love lemon meringue pie
It makes me want to fly
High up in the blue sky
Without saying goodbye
Like cute birds in the trees
I would sail in the breeze
Like seeds from sunflowers
I would float through the hours
Until back on the ground
Standing in front a mound
A mouth-watering pound
Tasty meringue–profound
Oh yellow lemon pie
With your white fluffy top
And golden flaky crust
Tasting you is a must
For choosy wet tastebuds

Strawberry shortcake
Dripping red sweet sauce
Saturating ladyfingers––definitely a boss
In the world of delicious desserts and treats
Mouthwatering flavor for the eyes––
Let’s eat!
Delicate high mounds of sweet whipped cream
Lavish spongecakes, biscuits, pastries, dreams
Feeling coolness from red and white streams
Of sugary sweetness mixed in savory extremes
Tantalizes tastebuds
Permeates esteem
Which is why
I love strawberry shortcake!
