When joining MyStoriesAndPoems Kids Poetry Club, kids write poems about special stories called "ThemeStories".
Once they finish their "ThemeStory" poems, kids email their poems for critiques or post their poems in MyStoriesAndPoems Poetry Blog for others to read.
Kids under 13 need adult supervision to use this website and to use the MSAP blog. To submit a poem to the blog or to leave a comment or question, simply click on "Read Comments" HERE.
Kids may get their poems critiqued and post them in the blog. They may post them right away or wait until after they re-write them following their critiques.
MyStoriesAndPoems Blog is a new addition to the site. Members who submit ThemeStory 1 Grasshopper poems to the blog during the month of April 2011 - in observance of Poetry Month - will receive Free Grasshopper Designer Poetry Pages {see the page} and Free Because I Came to School Hungry Designer Poetry Pages {see the story}.
Author R. Renée Bembry critiques all poems submitted to this site and to the MSAP blog.
Find samples of her work throughout this website and find a poem improvement comparison on the Home Page. Also find links to her Helium.com articles.
As in most walks of life, certain rules are necessary in order to provide the best program for users and members of an organization. In the case of poetry-writing submissions at this site, MSAP rules are strongly enforced.
Prior to submitting poetry to MyStoriesAndPoems and to the MSAP blog, please read the rules carefully. These rules apply when requesting critiques and when entering poetry contests.
Poems sumitted wherein rules have not be followed will not receive response from MyStoriesAndPoems.com.
