Free Critiques: Free Contest Poem critiques for MyStoriesAndPoems Members entering Poetry-Writing Contests. All Member contest entries will receive a critique. Critiques will be e-mailed to addresses contest entries are sent from. Free Non-Theme-Story related poem critiques for MyStoriesAndPoems Members: Silly Mommy will choose ten poems per collection of Member entries sent to MyStoriesAndPoems.com each week for a free critique. These poems may be on any topic of the writer's choosing with the exception of the Poetry Critique and Display Rules cited near the end of this page. Poems earning free critiques may be posted on MyStoriesandPoems.com for approximately sixty days. All Members may suggest ways to improve showcased poems. Member improvement ideas may be showcased along side critiqued works. Members may resubmit poems showing how they rewrote them after Silly Mommy critiques. Silly Mommy will post changed poems on pages with initial versions at the authoring Member's request.
Qualify for free Non-Theme-Story related critiques by submitting requests to FreeCritique@mystoriesandpoems.com. Kids, allowing Silly Mommy to critique your work: (1) Is a great way to get help writing a poem for school and (2) will help improve your overall writing ability. OR... If you would like to Guarantee your Theme-Story critique or your Theme-Story poem was not chosen for a free critique, use the Poetry Pay Chart on the right to request a paid critique. A Free Stories Into Poems Cover Sheet will be included with each Theme-Story1 Grasshopper Poem critique.
Poetry Critique and Display Rules These rules will be strictly adhered to!! (1) Silly Mommy will not critique, or display on this website any poem or poems she deems to be vile, derogatory, demeaning, or offensive in any way. Silly Mommy is the only one who will have a say in making said determination. (2) Poems submitted for free critiques must not exceed 120 words. (3) Silly Mommy asks that you request only one free critique per week.

Silly Mommy will email critiqued poems back to clients within three days after receiving poems to be critiqued and payment for the critiques. If your critique is needed due to help with a homework assignment, mention that fact when you submit your poem. Include its due date. Silly Mommy will make every effort to expedite your critique. However, payment must be received at Pay Pal before the critique will be released.
